Terms of Service
These terms describe how you may access and use CEQA.ai content, tools, and pilot services. By engaging with our site or solutions, you agree to the responsibilities outlined below.

By accessing CEQA.ai or participating in our pilot programs, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using CEQA.ai on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Permitted Use
Our articles, guides, and datasets are provided for informational purposes. You may reference or share materials with attribution, but you may not resell, sublicense, or misrepresent CEQA.ai content as your own. Automated scraping or bulk downloading is prohibited without written consent.
3. Account & Pilot Participation
Some services may require additional agreements (e.g., NDAs, statements of work). Where conflicts arise, those agreements control. You are responsible for safeguarding any access credentials we issue and for activity performed through your accounts.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Unlawful content
You may not use CEQA.ai to distribute content that violates laws, infringes intellectual property, or compromises sensitive environmental data without authorization.
Impersonation
Do not misrepresent your identity or affiliation when engaging with CEQA.ai or our partners.
Reverse engineering
Unless permitted by law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our proprietary tools.
5. Intellectual Property
CEQA.ai retains all rights, title, and interest in its trademarks, content, software, documentation, and data models. You receive no licenses other than those expressly granted in these terms or a separate written agreement.
6. Disclaimers
Content on CEQA.ai is provided “as is” for educational purposes. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Environmental planning decisions should be made by qualified professionals applying applicable laws and standards.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CEQA.ai and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues arising from your use of the site or services.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CEQA.ai harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or violation of these terms, including reasonable attorney fees.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
