Execute the automated CEQA review pipeline

Use this repeatable sequence for each project. Tune prompts, thresholds, and hand-offs based on resource area complexity and stakeholder sensitivity.

  1. Create the project workspace. Connect source repositories, import GIS extents, and tag project metadata (lead agency, discretionary approvals, timeline). Generate a README for auditors describing AI components in use.
  2. Ingest and normalize documents. Run ingestion flow (OCR, deduplication, section splitting). Store embeddings or structured summaries in your knowledge base with provenance (file name, page, paragraph IDs).
  3. Run resource-area analysis. For each Appendix G topic, execute retrieval-augmented prompts or rules. Capture suggested significance levels, cited evidence, and open questions that need human review.
